The Sunday after we moved him in, they had Freshman Convocation. If we lived closer, I would have gone for sure....all parents were invited. These are a few pics from the school's Facebook page I'm using to document the event for posterity's sake :)
Each freshman student was given a medal like this with "Class of 2016"on it. They were encouraged to wear them again when they graduate in four years. I got my first look at it over the weekend.
They had a block party for them at the Commons after the ceremony
and the cheerleaders were on hand :) I love me some cheerleading!
In four years, I'm sure I'll be looking back in disbelief at how fast it flew by!
